The Ranch, Larimer County Fairgrounds and Event Center is seeking skilled individuals to join our team as part time Events Maintenance Workers. Events Maintenance Workers perform building support services work involving the care, maintenance, and cleaning of event equipment, facilities, buildings, and grounds at the Ranch Events Complex so the public can continue to enjoy all of the events at our site. Provides basic janitorial duties, landscaping, grounds maintenance, snow removal, meeting and event setup and tear down, minor maintenance and repair, and customer service. The positions are part time, shift work mainly Thursday to Sunday as needed. If you enjoy the flexibility of a part time schedule, than this is the job for you!
Specifically, this position:
Sets up and takes down events, including arena operations.
Moves and arranges furniture and equipment and sets up rooms for meeting or events.
Performs repairs on event equipment, facilities, buildings, and grounds at The Ranch.
Operates and maintains equipment used in the performance of assigned tasks.
Maintains proper standards of cleanliness in assigned areas by performing tasks such as vacuuming and shampooing carpet, sweeping and moping hard surfaces, washing windows and walls, emptying trash receptacles, and cleaning restrooms.
The Ranch Events Complex is a 244-acre site located in Loveland, CO. Our facility is designed on a circular plot, standing at the center a person is never more than 300 yards from any one space. The Ranch Events complex is comprised of event buildings, beautifully landscaped lawns, as well as indoor and outdoor arenas. The Ranch campus also includes the Budweiser Events Center, a 7,200 seat multi-purpose venue utilized for events such as Colorado Eagles Hockey, concerts, comedians and monster trucks. High School diploma or GED required.
Have or have the ability to obtain a valid Driver's License by date of hire.
Other Information to Note:
An offer of employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen. As marijuana is an illegal substance under federal law, testing positive for marijuana (medical or otherwise) or any other substance for which the county tests, will result in the contingent offer of employment being revoked. A successful completion of the drug screen is defined as obtaining a negative result.

This is a part time temporary position, anticipated to work under 30 hours a week with no anticipated end date.
