    Natural Resources manages Larimer County's great outdoor places, including open spaces and magnificent water-based recreation areas, and fosters responsible land stewardship through weed management and healthy forest practices.  The Department of Natural Resources has 40+ benefited employees and 125+ seasonal and part time employees.

    Larimer County Department of Natural Resources is seeking a skilled and talented individual to join our team.



    • Perform general upkeep and cleaning of campgrounds and park facilities
    • Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, watering, pruning, and weed control
    • Operate a variety of light equipment including mowers and chainsaws; perform preventative maintenance of tools and equipment used in parks grounds maintenance including mowers, weed eaters, hand tools, etc
    • Advise park users of recreational opportunities and park regulations
    • Perform other duties as appropriate or necessary for performance of the job

    Please note that this position is located at Carter Lake. 



    • Three months of experience in general landscaping and/or groundskeeping desired
    • High School Diploma or GED required
    • Possession of a valid Driver's License
