The LCCC promotes individual development through service for the benefit of our environment and community. Our programs empower corpsmembers to develop personal and professional skills, gain environmental awareness and actively engage in the community, while developing self-sufficiency to help them become productive members of our community. The LCCC is based in Fort Collins, Colorado and is an accredited corps through the Colorado Youth Corps Association and The Corps Network.
The AgriCorps Crew Leader is a seasonal, supervisory position managing a crew of youth who perform various agriculture and horticulture projects. Projects typically focus on planting, weeding, watering, harvesting, and building and maintaining structures. Crew leaders work side-by-side with the corpsmembersand crew mentor to complete work projects in a variety of weather conditions and terrain. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership, organizational, and problem solving skills, clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written and proficient troubleshooting and conflict management skills. Additionally this individual would have a background working in a team environment, providing supervision to a diverse group, preferably youth.

Other Information to Note:
LCCC AgriCorps Crew leaders are expected to work 7:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and attend a staff meeting on Friday mornings. This schedule may be modified due to training, weather, logistics, or other unforeseen circumstances.
For staff training, the daily schedule will be modified to a full time schedule from May 21 – June 1.
