The Ranch, Larimer County Fairgrounds and Event Center is seeking a skilled, detail oriented individual to join our team as part time, temporary Accounting Technician anticipated to work 2 days a week until August 2018.  This position assists our administrative team with basic clerical accounting duties such as data entry, accounting, and filing records.  If you enjoy the flexibility of a part time schedule, than this is the job for you!


  • Enters accounting data on computer, ledgers and other accounting records according to established methods and procedures.
  • Checks computer reports for accuracy and completeness, and makes routine adjustments as necessary.
  • Processes and prepares vouchers for payment.
  • Files receipts, vouchers, billings and other materials according to established methods and procedures.
  • Maintains a variety of records.
  • Types forms, billings, routine correspondence and other related items.

The Ranch Events Complex is a 244-acre site located in Loveland, CO.  Our facility is designed on a circular plot, standing at the center a person is never more than 300 yards from any one space.  The Ranch Events complex is comprised of event buildings, beautifully landscaped lawns, as well as indoor and outdoor arenas.  The Ranch campus also includes the Budweiser Events Center, a 7,200 seat multi-purpose venue utilized for events such as Colorado Eagles Hockey, concerts, comedians and monster trucks.  Watch this brief video to learn more about the Ranch.





  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Two years of clerical experience with record keeping, in a directly related field or in the performance of similar duties and responsibilities.

Other Information to Note:

  • An offer of employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and background check. As marijuana is an illegal substance under federal law, testing positive for marijuana (medical or otherwise) or any other substance for which the county tests, will result in the contingent offer of employment being revoked. A successful completion of the drug screen is defined as obtaining a negative result.
