Larimer County is located in north central Colorado. It is the sixth largest county in Colorado based on both population and land area. The county extends to the Continental Divide and includes several mountain communities and Rocky Mountain National Park. For this Civil Engineering II position, we are seeking an innovative, flexible and skilled engineer to join our Development Services and Stormwater Group. The team is relatively small and is responsible for a wide variety of duties often on deadline and in coordination with other groups, departments, or customers. The ideal candidate will have broad skills in civil engineering related areas such as road design, stormwater design, floodplain management, and erosion control and water quality best practices. They will also be familiar with construction and material testing methods, have the ability to self-direct, have a cooperative attitude, and excellent communication and coordination skills.
