The Behavioral Health Services department was formed in January 2019, and the Communication and Media Specialist will be joining a small team of five employees. The Behavioral Health Services department is responsible for developing a comprehensive continuum of behavioral health services around Larimer County.
The Communication and Media Specialist will be responsible for creativity, strategic content management, public relations, and information packaging for public consumption. As a BHS team member this position will have the unique opportunity to work with other county communications staff, to increase public awareness around behavioral health issues and truly spotlight behavioral health as a priority focus for the Board of County Commissioners.
This position is subject to a final budget approval from the Board of County Commissioners and has an expected start date of January 2, 2020.

An offer of employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
