    Details

    The Benefits and Community Support Division Manager serves as the strategic leader for all public assistance programs such as Temporary Assistance to Needy Families, Medicaid, Food Assistance, Child Care, and Child Support.  This position is responsible for leading, directing and managing the Division’s strategy and program to provide high level of service for our citizens. The position exhibits strategic leadership and emphasizes collaboration to draw together resources throughout the County, State and other counties Colorado to consistently present a cohesive, coordinated, and positive image for Larimer County Human Services. 

    The individual in this position must possess the confidence and experience to be a trusted counselor to the Director and Deputy Director and play a strategic role in planning, organizing, directing, managing staff and other resources in the delivery of public assistance programs. 

     Performance expectations for the first year include:

    • Building relationships with other counties, the State office, and the Colorado Human Services Director’s Association.
    • Drive changes and improvements in all program areas to better serve customers.
    • Responsible for managing budgets and allocations including making required adjustments to revenues or expenses throughout each fiscal year.
    • Evaluating our service levels and staffing against the expectations of our customers.

    This is an appointed position with a hiring range of $84,933 – $106,166.00.
