The Part-Time Department Specialist I with Criminal Justice Services performs administrative work in support of both the Alternative Sentencing and Community Corrections Departments. This is a divisional posting for the Department Specialist I job title, with one vacancy starting in January 2020. This vacancy is subject to the final approval of the Larimer County 2020 Budget. Should the position not be funded in 2020, we will not fill this position. From this posting, we will also create an eligibility list that will be used as positions within Criminal Justice Services become available.
May be subject to on-call/mandatory overtime.
Assessment testing will be administered.
An offer of employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen. As marijuana is an illegal substance under federal law, testing positive for marijuana (medical or otherwise) or any other substance for which the county tests, will result in the contingent offer of employment being revoked. A successful completion of the drug screen is defined as obtaining a negative result.
