The Larimer County Assessor's office is on the search for a unique and experienced three-quarter time Executive Assistant to join their team of professionals. This is the perfect opportunity for you to use your creativity, organization, and communication skills.


The Assessor's office is an outward facing office that assists and responds regularly to the community.


The Executive Assistant will provide direct support and assistance to the Assessor as well as the Deputy Assessor.


This position is responsible for:

  • Documentation.
  • Report writing and filing.
  • Web publishing.
  • Responds to requests for information from the public and the media; produces news releases and media briefings.
  • Managing, creating and updating spreadsheets.
  • Data entry collection and checking for accuracy.
  • Excellent communication both written and verbal.
  • Budgeting for the office.
  • Is able to wear many hats for the office.
  • Performs confidential and high-level administrative work on behalf of office and Assessor.
  • Meeting deadlines and assisting the office with meeting deadlines.
  • Assists with transparency to the community.
  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • High School Diploma or GED supplemented by additional office administration coursework required.
  • Five (5) years of experience in a directly related field or in the performance of similar duties and responsibilities at a senior level required.

An offer of employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen. As marijuana is an illegal substance under federal law, testing positive for marijuana (medical or otherwise) or any other substance for which the county tests, will result in the contingent offer of employment being revoked. Successful completion of the drug screen is defined as obtaining a negative result.
